subject:want to develop a yahoo companion style toolbar

HI
  well for my site i want to develop a yahoo companion
style toolbar which gets added to the browsers toolbar
everytime the browser is launched. i would like to get
some sought of help for this. i would prefer to use
c++ for developing it. can anyone send me some kind of
sample code which just adds a new toolbar with a
single button on it. if i am on the wrong list i
request someone to post this query to the correct list
and as i am not a member of any other list i request
