Ever since the instant I downloaded Dev-C++ last summer I thought it was awesome, and now that I discovered its capabilities with stuff like Allegro I friggin' love it. I'm not sure if this is the place to place a suggestion, but I am anyways. I hate using Microsoft's Visual C++; however, that's the program I have to use to open Microsoft Visual C++ projects (.dsw or somethin') and it's really annoying, so my suggestion is to add either a converter for MVC++ projects, or add the ability to read MVC++ projects using Dev-C++. That'd make Dev-C++ the best compiler EVER MADE. Thanks

I would agree with you on that. I have been using Dev-C++ for a couple years now and I find it (to say the least) comprable to many commercial development tools. Although as of now, Dev-C++ is not a fully independant environment for windows development, I would like to see some kind of integrated resource editor and maybe a more intuitive debugger. All in all, I am very impressed with the progression of the project.

i know i hate micros*h*i*t visual C++
it always tries to give you tons of useless junk and makes it harder for you to learn how to program
I hated VisualC++ for the first time i installed it.
but isn`t there a VC++ import function in DevC++ allready?? (Version 4.9.9.0)
