Changes to preferences do not persist

To reproduce:

1. Open Dev-C++
2. Create a new source file
3. Write some code, notice the syntax hilighting
4. Open up editor options and turn syntax hilighting off
   Notice that your code is no longer syntax hilighted
5. Save your new source file
6. Close Dev-C++
7. Open the sourcefile you created in step 2 with Dev-C++
   Notice that your code is syntax highlighted once again

An interesting thing is that if you were now to:

1. Open up editor options, click okay

Syntax hilighting would turn off, once again.

This happens with many other options. So, it looks like
settings that the user changes aren't being loaded when
the program initilizes, only when the options menu is
opened and closed.

PPS I would love to see this fixed, I would like to
switch to Dev-C++ permenantly.

This is on WindowsXP, with no funny business.

If the "All project files" box is checked in the "Auto open"
area, the last project is not opened when I start Dev-C++

I guess this could be the same problem that has been
described here.
