I've been attempting to play Pokemon Heartgold on this emulator and it has been experiencing quite a few bugs. These include character models glitching out into missingno-looking errors between screen transitions and now, the game randomly speeding up during the opening sequence, title screen, and in each menu (pokedex, bag, ect.). I have been using an unofficial release which allows for higher quality models and faster gameplay, but this hasn't been an issue with Pokemon Black so I don't know why it suddenly would be with Heartgold... I've tried disabling and reinstating all of the speed up and frame speed-related options I can but nothing seems to help... any ideas?

This also applies within buildings, but not to nearly the same extent as other areas*
Upon booting up Pokemon White**, I was proven incorrect... the speedup error is occurring within this game as well.
a HACKED pokemon white?
Pokemon white does not suffer the "character models glitching between screen transitions". Nor does heartgold if you use the most recent version of the emulator. As for speedup problems, blow the dust out of your gpu and cpu fans and set your laptop to maximum performance mode.
ohhh yeah they're probably pretty dusty lmfao, also i meant pokemon white suffered the speedup only, and this version is probably not as updated so I'll try and find a more recent version. Thank you!
i've got the same problem and it's definetly annoying. Don't know how to fix it tho

***figured it out, I'm using DeSmuME X432R
so the fix is to not use x432r, right?
Yeah, it seems fine with the windows link,,, I'll figure out how to transfer save data lmao
DeSmuME X432R is not supported in any form. We don't make it, and the one who did make it seems to have abandoned it. For the record, the latest version of DeSmuME has all of the features of DeSmuME X432R plus more -- high-resolution 3D rendering, better performance, you name it. In addition, X432R is based off the v0.9.11 code base, for which the latest version of DeSmuME is far more advanced than v0.9.11 in every possible way. There is zero reason to use X432R at this point.
Closing, due to the user abandoning this issue. The user has resolved their own issue by migrating from X432R to the latest version of DeSmuME.
