Hi, I have a problem on my sims 2 game, there is no icon in the game, and when i want to name my character the letter are not appearing. Can someone help ?
This problem is due to a bug with the Dynamic Recompiler (JIT). Some games have issues when the JIT Block Size is set too high, and this is one of them. If you set the JIT Block Size to 15, the sprites and title logo will appear correctly.
Note that DeSmuME defaults to a JIT Block Size of 12, and so the user was the one who broke the game by changing the default setting.
With that said, we'll keep this ticket open as another test case for the JIT.
