#1688 Black and white unable to select new game

so i just downloaded the emulator and so far it's worked great, however whenever i try to play pokemon black and white regardless of what rom i use, i always end up with the same result, getting past the press start screen only to get stopped at the main menu when it asks to select new game..and for the life of me i haven't seen anyone make a ticket for this and there is no fix i've seen so i decided to make an account just to ask this...so please help me

Config > Control Config.
Learn to press the right buttons.

i have the same problem and i tried changing the controls but i dont found results

Try harder then and ask someone for help who can watch over your shoulder and tell you what you're doing wrong.

It literally doesnt work, ive changed the key several times. It wont make a new game.

I have the exact same issue on the same game, tried different keys but nothing works. I also don't have people I can just ask you can fix it.

Try more different keys. Surely you haven't tried them all. Have you tried clicking?
