cheat codes work better than ever, if you use the latest version of desmume. Of course it takes some wits to match the right cheats with the right rom and activate them appropriately, then remove them before they break the game and save in-game frequently so that errors accumulated due to broken cheats don't ruin your savestates.

ok cuz im new to the emulator, I just got it but the two games i downloaded run rediculously slow and make my whole laptop lag. the AR cheat codes dont normally work since theres so many codes for just one thing. And since im new to emulators and cheat codes, i dont really know how to use them that well. But if theres a website with Pokemon games for Nintendo DS or GameBoy Advance, please tell me. As long as they run smoothly and are less likely to crash your game especially with cheat codes. Also if you know a website with working cheat codes (Action Replay) that works for Pokemon Black, White, Black 2, White 2, or Platinum, please let me know that as well. Because I need my Master Balls and Shiny Pokemon.

Ive used cheats before and they seem to work and my game was fine. But i tried a shiny cheat code (it worked) but everytime id run or kill the pokemon it would crash. I got rid of it thinking nothing of it and went to victory road and it crashed and says i need to start over. I started to fix it all it is, is a black screen but i can hear the music and it reads my control but doesn't do anything. Please someone help if u can.

Paraphrasing erorr messages doesn't help. It didn't tell you you need to start over. If it crashed, it didn't tell you anything,except maybe "sending error report to microsoft"
