#1636 Mario and Luigi Bowser Inside Story Bug(blue shell)
I Played Mario And Luigi : Bowser inside story For a quite long,and found this bug,it makes me cant play this anymore,because when i wanted to wear blue shell,The blue Koopa(IDK what is it),gives me a block,and commands me to hit it with my shell,but,when Luigi hit it ,the block wont respond

I really don't think this is an emulation error. Check on gamefaqs.

this is pretty late and you likely already know the answer, bur ill explain what i know. this glitch often happens to versions of the game that are not legitiment. for whatever reason, non legit copiws pf the game wont allow you to progress past it, probably because if you couldthe game is an unstable mess. the glitch happened to me even when using an AR (action replay). it also happened to one of my friends who was playing on an R4, a form of emulation. the only way past this would be to restart, try again, maybe find a different emulator or rom. there might even be game genie cheats you could directly apply to the game through DeSmuME that could maybe get around it.
Thanks for the info. In these cases it's due to timing errors; flash cards have different timing than retail roms. AR affects timing too. And bad emulation affects timing considerably :)
In my case, in the part where bowser meets fawful a second time, when confronted with his cervil, the game stops both the sound and the game
Save in-game, change emulation settings, restart emulator, load in-game save. Different settings will affect the timing and let you get by

i had this same issue but i had just found out a way to get past this part, save the game before you do this in game, config >> emulation settings>> go to the cpu emulation mode and uncheck use dynamic recomplier, confirm these settings restarting the rom then you restart desmume boot up the rom and hopefully this solution works for you.
i play mine on a nintendo ds i bought my game brand new legit at a game stop and mine stops me at the same area and mine stops me when i fianlly get into bowsers castle so i dont know hownto fix this. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Bought it "brand new" legit at a gamestop WHEN? It's fascinating that the game bugs for you on a cart. Usually that stuff only happens on a flash cart.
