I get the error during compiling:

g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I. -DQT_CLEAN_NAMESPACE
-DSHAREDIR=\"/usr/share/3ddesktop\" -DSYSCONFDIR=\"/usr/etc\"
-Wno-deprecated -I/opt/kde/include/ -I/opt/kde/include/
-I/opt/qt/include -L/usr/X11R6/lib -L/usr/X11R6/lib -c -o 3ddeskd.o
`test -f '3ddeskd.cpp' || echo './'`3ddeskd.cpp

make[1]: *** [3ddeskd.o] Error 1

make: *** [all] Error 2

while I've got Imlib2 installed.
I don't now what's wrong.

    Hi I have just installed this great application.
    and I'm very very happy with it.
    I ran into the same problem you had (i'm using
    mandrake/9.1)

    what solved it for me was to install the imlib developmen
    packages) (anything with imlib :) )

    I am having the same problem and I have installed everything
    remotely connected with imlib and all the other
    dependencies. Please could someone help?

    Yes. I searched for 'imlib' with Mandrake 9.1's rpmdrake
    and I installed everything it returned.

    Sorry, I've worked it out. I found the answer on the FAQ on
    the website. But now that it's installed, how do I run it?

    I've typed '3ddesk' in both Gnome and KDE, but nothing happens.
