I have been running the scoreboard for the Aroostook Roller Derby group for a couple of months now on someone else's laptop, a PC. I own a MacBook and would love to be able to practice at home, instead of just at scrimmages/bouts (which is understandably worrisome). I have been trying to open the Scoreboard on and off for a couple of days now. I've read as much as I understand about how to do this and determined that using Chrome would not be a good idea. So, as of now, here's where I am after reading the ReadMe file multiple times and having several false starts: - downloaded both the Scoreboard (through Chrome) and Java through Safari - installed Java - put the Java file in the same "lib" directory as the Scoreboard [jre-8u111-macosx-x64.dmg] - closed Safari and restarted it - checked that Java is working in Safari (yes) - opened the "start.html" in Safari All it tells me is that the Scoreboard isn't running. What am I doing wrong or what else could I try?
