For config files an option to autoload and run a disk, tape or program after loading the config itself.
For example I created a config with eight SIDs and assigned "The tuneful eight" PRG to Program 1 in software tab. It would be great to have that PRG run automatically after loading the configuration.
This would also enable to start a program (D64, PRG etc.) with custom settings.

P.S. In addition to my request. I could imagine a label "Autorun:" before a drop down with values "Nothing", "Disk in Device 8", "Tape", "Program 1" within the config tab. The selection being saved and loaded with each configuration (and "Nothing" as default if missing :)
One could implement it so that as soon as the configuration contains media, it is started if no CRT is selected in the configuration. Priority: Disk/Tape/PRG
I'll add it to the to-do list.
Thank you :D
in latest nightly there is a autostart selector in configuration layout
Denise Nightly are only for Linux (flatpak) (?). I would like to test the new feature but I am Windows user.
nightlies Windows Mac
Thanks for the link and it works like a charme :D
Tested:
1) Configuration with 8 SIDs and "the-tuneful-eight.prg" runs the program after loading the configuration with autostart switch "PRG" active. If there is a disk in drive 8 and / or a tape configured these are ignored as it should be.
2) GEOS configuration with Super CPU + REU and "geos-supercpu.d64" in drive 8 perfectly boots into GEOS after loading the configurarion with autostart switch "Disk" active. If there is a PRG selected and / or a tape configured these are ignored as it should be.
Autostart set to Default (Voeinstellung in German) disables all autostart.
Great job, thanks again!
