What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Zoom in
2. Zoom in/out with mouse scroll wheel
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Scroll "north" should zoom in like Firefox (Ctrl-Scroll), Office and Google
Maps. Instead, it zooms out.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
v1.2; Windows XP
Please provide any additional information below.

It would be ok to make this a configurable option. What I consider "backwards" will
not always match others' expectations.

The right and left directions are correct. Grab the object and move it to the left and it moves to the left. I'm moving the map, not me. If I put my mouse finger on any real life object and pull it towards me, the force would tend to move it closer to me, and zoom in. If I put my finger on the mouse scroll wheel and pull it towards me the imagine on the screen should also come toward me or zoom. My CAD and other technical programs control or move the object on the screen and not me , this is natural for me, but for some reason google maps wants me to be the object that is moving, but I'm not. I was wondering if I can change the scroll wheel direction.

As I said, not everyone will agree. Configurable option would be ideal.
