#439 Request for information

Sorry for writing here. This is not a bug. I do not know of any other way to get in touch with the developers and hope someone can answer my request/question.

I am playing (hobby, no commercial goals) with an old USB capture that has the TDA8290+TDA8275 combo. I managed to get the device working under Windows 10 x64 using the Windows XP x32 drivers. More info upon request. I want to see the analog tuner no signal (noise) screen. However I get a black / blanking screen (CVBS and SVideo inputs work, so not a problem with the USB device as a whole). The TDA8295 datasheet shows it has the CVBS configuration register with the respective blanking bits configuration. So my question: does the TDA8290 has some such configuration or is it fixed to blanking in case there is no signal/lock present? An my request - TDA8290 and TDA8275 datasheets. From the comments in the code it seems that the developers have these.
