I've followed all the instructions to install defuse.
After running defuse for 2 days I get this error:

Detected old version of genome index: genomebits128 file not available. This version of GSNAP is not backwards compatible.
...

If I understand it correctly I should use an older version of GMAP? I would appreciate any help in solving this problem.

defuse version 0.6.1
GMAP package, version 2014-05-15
