Defence Condition is intended as a high-quality, highly configurable and portable remake of the classic Defender (or perhaps Defender Stargate) arcade game originally developed by Williams Electronics, as well as extend the game to new missions while preserving its core spirit. It is also meant to preserve for history a clean, well-documented codebase necessary for this type of game.
