I have been having the same problem with multiple hostname updates on namecheap
dynamic DNS.

I just tried the fix that edmdude offered, and I wanted to confirm that it worked.
All my hostnames now update properly.  This is a much simpler solution than
the alias workaround that nobody posted, so I would like to suggest that edmdude's
fix be incorporated into the next ddclient release.
