Hello Mr. Wim,
As of today, I'm running Fedora Core 6 instead of SuSE 10.2, using ddclient-3.7.0-2
for DNS updates. I have installed the following version after downloading it
from the internet: ddclient-3.7.0-2.fc6.rf.noarch.rpm.
Today I received a message by email saying:
WARNING: caught SIGTERM; exiting
regards,
ddc...@li... (version 3.7.0)
My solution, for this moment, is this: in the file /etc/ddclient/ddclient.conf
I have commented the line:
mail-failure=my...@my... # Mail failed updates to user
to make it look like this:
# mail-failure=my...@my... # Mail failed updates to user
Maybe this will stop ddclient from sending messages but, of course, I wonder
what might be going on, though. How serious is this and what should I do about
it?
Best regards,
bidevi,
Dutchman in Germany
