Looking at your version of ddclient, this is changes: < my $etc = ($program =~ /test/i) ? './' : '/opt/etc/ddclient/'; < my $cachedir = ($program =~ /test/i) ? './' : '/opt/var/cache/ddclient/'; < my $savedir = ($program =~ /test/i) ? 'URL/' : '/opt/tmp/'; It means that your version of ddclient is using /opt/etc/ddclient for its config, /opt/var/cache/ddclient for cache and /opt/tmp to save the answers. Maybe the last one is the problem: does /opt/tmp exist and is it writable?
