Hi, I've been using ddclient for a couple months now. I really like the software, but some things are bugging me. * It is not ipv6 aware, which means you can't even update an AAAA record. * There is no ordering for updating dns and no way to define such an order, which makes it totally impossible for me to update my ipv6 tunnel endpoint before ddclient tries to update my cloudflare domain. Hence, the updating process fails -- my network got its tunnel set up already, but v6 connectivity isn't yet working due to my ip changing. If anyone can provide a way to do that I'd be infinitely happy... I'd code it myself but I have 0 programming knowledge. The problem is that even if the tunnel endpoint isn't set correctly my router starts to talk over ipv6 i.e: resolves the cloudflare domain as v6. If the Hurricane Electric gets updated before cloudflare it would be fine. Thanks ! -- Ellie Reeves |
