[Ddclient-support] [Announce] ddupdate, a ddclient alternative, perhaps?

Dear list,

After struggling with ddclient (which turned out to be a problem with
the service provider) i looked into the software. ddclient has been
around for long, it has a lot of great functionality - but is not always
easy to tame.

I have set up new attempt. It's rather simplistic, but have some
strengths / differences:

 - For better or worse, it's python.
 - It's linux-centric.
 - It's a plugin system, configuration in code rather then conffiles
 - It provides user help for supported services
 - Being a plugin system, it might be easier to maintain.
 - It is ipv6-aware
 - For now, it supports about 13 service providers, several listed by
Arch as not compatible with ddclient.

ddupdate is available
 - on github (can be run without sinatllation):

 - on pypi as package ddupdate:  https://pypi.python.org/pypi
 - fedora/mageia/epel packages on
https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/leamas/ddupdate/
