I get those to.  I haven't looked very closely into this problem but I
guess it happens when one of the three servers isn't reacting.  On the
next try, dns should give another IP which normally functions.  Maybe we
could add an extra feature which would add a retry.

Yes it does.  If it doesn't you'll get another email.

You may add the option but I don't think it's useful.
