I've noticed a common help topic is user accounts being blocked for abuse when ddclient is unable to write to the cache file [1][2]. The patch causes ddclient to attempt to create the cache file if it doesn't exist and fail with a fatal() if it cannot create the file.

patch3: Add info on what provides IO::Socket::SSL for Fedora (not usually necessary since the Fedora ddclient package has the proper requirements).
