Summary: belkin "ADSL modem with wireless G router" support
Initial Comment:
In ddclient.conf, just put :
use=fw, fw=<IP ADDRESS of the router on the LAN>/login.stm, fw-skip='var wan_ip="' # found after IP Address
Although one normally needs a password to log in the config pages of the router, this password IS NOT required to gain access to the wan address, just because this ip addresse appears in the code of the login page itself.:-)
Applies to belkin "ADSL Modem with Wireless G router", Model F5D7632-4, firmware 4.01.09.
note : I recently had problems with the embedded dyndns client of the router : it just missed to perform some updates, after some wan ip changes enforced by our ISP "orange" (which is forcing a deconnexion every 24h).
That is why I use ddclient now.
