It looks at least like ddclient can't find the wan ip on the status page of your router. Are you sure your config concerning your linksys router is correct? You could try a wget http://192.168.0.1/Status.htm and post the result on pastebin. Concerning the "wait at least 5 minutes" I would guess either your system clock is running wild or there's another ddclient process running. Ddclient uses the system clock and it's cache file to find out when it tried for the last time.
