[Ddclient-forum] [ddclient - Help] Does ddclient log when IP doesn't change?

Does ddclient's log record to syslog every update attempt, or only when the
IP changes?

I ran ddclient -deamon=0 and got, at the end:

 SUCCESS:  mydomain.com: skipped: IP address was already set to xx.xx.xx.xx

But if I run ddclient (deamon), I don't get that line printed to my syslog (with
syslog=yes).


Just for the record, I got to this point by manually changing the
/var/cache/ddclient/ddclient.cache file. I manually inserted my current IP address,
because I was getting this warning in the log:

WARNING:  file /var/cache/ddclient/ddclient.cache, line 3: Invalid Value for
keyword 'ip' = ''
