Would be nice with a feature that do a forced update every 28th day to keep
the dyndns accounts alive cuz now when dyndns have changed their services you
can't use static ip's anymore just dynamic.

First, I don't know why you think there's no static IP anymore.  it's been
rearranged, that's true but you can still choose this TTL: "4Hrs. Static record
with the benefit of DNS cache".  That's the one you need for a static host.
Btw you need to click on "edit ttl" to be able to change this.
Second, the feature you want is already there.  Check max-interval.  By default
the value is set to match the dyndns recommendation.
