Wondering what happened to https://sourceforge.net/p/ddclient/tractickets/23/

I would like to use this however I notice its not in the latest release

I got the impression from reading the ticket it was going to be incorporated into ddclient

As far as I can see in the comments, the patch didn't had enough info.
