#5 main function of a dccassist

hello!
I think the main function of a dccassist is to download
automatically a xdcc pack.
one do a double klick on a pack in the pack watcher.
then dccassist download automatically till the pack is
completly downloaded.
if the xdcc download will be disconnected the dccassist
have to try to restart the download.
I think you can fix the request time to 5 minutes.
every 5 minutes the dccassist should connect to the
bots and try to download from the bots or try the queue
to bots.

I think this function is the first function which a
dccassist should be able to do.

I certainly agree, and DccAssist does much of what you
wrote. The only thing it currently doesnt do is restart
failed transfers and allow for double click to download
things (use the download button in PacketWatch instead).
The first stable release, 2.0, which will be released soon,
will have the restart ability. However, even then, a failed
transfer is usually due to a bot going offline, so there is
often not much the prog can do to restart the transfer.

I have another feature requests:
one should also manually add a pack to download. not only in
the PacketWatch with the download button.
there should be also a button "Add Pack".
if one klick on "Add Pack" button one should be asked for
network, channel, bot and packetnumber to add a pack for
download.
for example: at https://ircspy.com you search a pack. then
you should add a pack like I describe above. of course
dccassist have to join this network + channel in xchat.

yes, the download button is enough!
you have not to code a double klick ability for PacketWatch.
