We are happy to announce OpenResearch <http://openresearch.org/>, a
Semantic MediaWiki-based platform that supports researchers in
collecting, organizing, sharing and disseminating information about
scientific events, such as conferences, workshops (and much more) in a
structured way. It enables quality-related queries over a
multi-disciplinary collection of events according to a broad range of
criteria such as acceptance rate, sustainability of event series, and
reputation of people and organizations. Events can be explored in
different views using map, calendar and time-line visualizations.


Visit  openresearch.organd create an account to add/edit/share events
you are organizing or interested in. In particular, OpenResearch
supports the creation of custom event calendars [1] (see the example on
our groups profile page [2]).
