Hi! I would like to contribute to the DBPedia source code by adapting it to the Hungarian WIKI as well. I already downloaded and browsed the source code, and I found that some minor changes would be necessary to handle the Hungarian dates and time intervals. I would be happy to make this changes. It is possible to get access to the code repository? A short introduction about me: I'm a PhD candidate at the Technical University Budapest. Some years ago I was working on human language technologies at a Hungarian company. After that I started my PhD in the field of text mining and machine learning but my interest shifted in the direction of recommender systems. I participated in the Netflix contest and with my team we finished at the second place. I also worked on morphological analysis for speech understanding. Now I'm a founder and senior data miner of Gravity R&D Ltd. and in my free time I'm working on an Information extraction project. During this later project I met DBPedia, I think it's a promising project and I would be happy to make it available in Hungarian language as well. I'm an experienced Java programmer, I'm familiar with MySQL and a used several other programing languages in smaller projects as well. Best, Bottyán Németh |
