I installed DBFrontend into a non-default directory. It
created the .ini files for the projects, but they were
never displayed in the list. Moving the entire program
to "c:\program files\DBFrontend" made the projects visible.

I have observed a different behaviour. My DBFrontend is installd in the \program files as you suggest. As soon as I create a list of projects it is shown regularly, but after a few days some of the projects mysteriously disappear from the list. At the moment, NO project is visible any more, yet the list was created on last July 2007 and the .ini files are still all there! What I have to do is to rename the old .ini files, then create a series of "dummy" projects with the original names, then copy&paste the contents of the original .ini files into the new ones... all ok... but I am sure that in a few months the list will be empty again. Any idea to fix the bug?
