I am also experiencing the same issue on Windows 7 x64. Attached are some screenshots of the errors I am seeing. So far, I have been able to get it to reliably occur during a reverse engineering session to an Oracle 11g database. I get the following error message (attached) when querying a particularly large table with 211 columns.

"Access violation at address 005FB8CB in module 'DBDesignerFork.exe'. Read of address 00000010.

Update: Apparently you cannot attach files with bug comments... Not very user friendly if you ask me. Opening a new copy of this bug so I can attach the screen shots of the error and the configuration of my system when it occurred.

Oracle reverse engineering has been improved in Beta 3. But nothing related to access violation.
