A new option that data acquisiition a timestamp date is applied to a rows and the data appened to the current content. This would allow temporary historic presenation of data without a need for the creation of a table and population. Thus you can see the state change of a row, say, connection. For example, you can display the database details which is a singluar row, and display it as history and graph/chart of off the history.
Then if another option was added for deltas, a rate of change could be presented. The activity of a table over time could be presented. May have to indicate which column requires a delta. Mutiple rows can be handled as the table definition can state primary keys. Actually it may be a better way of handling deltas plus could provide depth analysis, eg. weighted avergae rate of change.
Another option may only be show the latest and provided drill down into history.
Appending should be relatively simple add-on. Just new tag basically and not cleaning down orginal list. Doing the delta bit should be too hard as each sample would have the same timestamp, and it then is a matching on key which may be the complex bit as the order may not be on key.
