few questions from new user/admin

Hello. Few questions
My situation:
client - server architecture
Server: Centos 6.7, Oracje Java 1.8
Client (only tested) - Linux Mint, Oracle Java 1.8

My questions:

• how to add password for admin? I've tried to start server with SA/password, but it doesn't work
• user management. How to effectively create more users? I've tried it via client. User exist, but I cannot log in with the new one.
• is it possible to authenticate via ldap (+specified GroupOfNames)?
• still don't see front images (or user image) in the client (it works in web client)
• I saw somewhere information, that datacrow may use barcode scanners. Is it true? Is it possible to use webcam as barcode scanner?

Hi Andrzej,

• Have you set a password for the SA account first? If so, the SA/<password> parameter should work. Can you correctly log in using the SA username and password in the client?</password>

• Did you set a password for the user? Also, did you assign any rights to the user? It will need module permissions, although without any permission it should still be able to log in.

• Can you log the image issue as a bug please?

• There is no LDAP authentication implemented.

• Bar code scanning has been implemented solely for the online search, so it's very limited in scope currently.
