I finally got a chance to build wine on Intel/Mac hardware, and here are a few of the problems I encountered (and workarounds): 1) FontForge (a prereq) seems to insist on looking for gettext in /usr/local, so install it there 2) In dlls/wined3d/baseshader.c, lines 688-690 don't compile because the openGL included on Mac doesn't define GL_OBJECT_INFO_LOG_LENGTH_ARB. Commenting them out seems to solve the problem (and these are only used for logging anyway. Now a few questions: 1) Is there a prefered way to include FontForge? 2) Is the default version of OpenGL that ships with OS X the right one, or should I be downloading something else for use instead? I'd like to get this stuff 'right' even though its pretty trivial. Anyway, I'm hoping to be the next person to tackle the threading issues (and maybe even the first to succeed!), because it seems to hold Darwine back from running a lot of the applications that it could since DCOM98 won't install without it.
