See my last email on this list for more explanation here: > sorry this wasn't the good link, here is the copy of my email to the list (sf doesn't have it): Hi all, This is done. I released a development version of wine which support Mac OS X. You can download it from the SourceForge File Release System, here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=69890 It should build fine on Mac OS X Panther. Mac OS X Jaguar is not supported in this release because of an incompatibility regarding header files between 10.3 and 10.2. This release is a development release. It should help developers to easily got into Wine on Mac OS X. CVS is enabled in this release, so developers can stay up to date with the WineHQ CVS. To build and install, uncompress the image disk. Copy it to your disk. Then add the environment variable MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET with its value set to 10.3 to your shell by doing: > bash % export MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET=10.3 in a bash shell or: > tcsh % setenv MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET 10.3 in a (t)csh shell. Now you can do: > % cd path/to/wine/source > % ./tools/wineinstall and follow the instructions. Good luck! Pierre |
