The WineHelper app should associate, with itself Windows Installer .msi files. When these are double clicked, it should automatically open them with ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32/msiexec.exe (which is already installed).

Initial .msi support is in CVS : launch msiexe.exe /i file when double click on .msi file
