#36 0.9.12: Permissions Error on .Exe Launch

On fresh installation on Intel Mac (OSX 10.4.6) of
version 0.9.12, any attempt to launch .exe files,
including samples included with installation, results
in the following log message:

WineHelper[393] *** NSTask: Task create for path
/Applications/Darwine/Wine.bundle failed: 13,
"Permission denied".

Is there a Terminal fix? Attempts to solve with
solutions from prior versions don't work.
