Hi Pete, Your mail was the first post ;-) I saw your codes at a glance, and ran it. it works well that's good :-) I've implemented code piece which captures user key input. It can be directly input some special keys(Arrow, Home, ESC and so on). Please look at this code. http://darwiin-remote.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/darwiin-remote/ DarwiinRemote/branches/hiroaki/KeyCaptureField.m?view=markup When we consider about some "special keys" such as ";" "@" and so on, we cannot use your way because there are many key code mappings (US, DVORAK, JP, and so on). But I'm still not sure how extract character from key code (so my code above resolve the problem by little bit dirty way.). BTW, I think the key configuration data should be deployable and selectable as needed. Now I'm exploring some documents about Core Data and testing some codes. about OSC. yeah, I also love CoreMIDI programming and your codes are interesting, but I think it's not focus of DarwiinRemote app. As you know, we have released WiiRemote framework. I guess this feature can be released your own app independently. What do you think? one more thing. when you implement new feature, please upload your codes at your own branch first from next time ;-) P.S. Merry Xmas! http://www.pillandpillow.com/xmasTwii/ On 2006/12/16, at 5:36, pete moss wrote: > i just joined this list, so i havent seen any previous communication. > hiroaki added me as a developer a few days ago. if i should also be a > part of the users list, let me know > > i wanted to notify you all that i have made a few significant > changes to > the source. i have created a preferences screen that allows you to > configure each button with a particular event. this required adding > several new functions. it seems to work well, but some of the mouse > clicking and dragging may not work right just yet. > > i have also added some basic OSC functionality.
