I thought I had handled this condition, but I looked the code and I did not.  You have found a bug.

The only thing you can do for now is force your ships to refuel by taking a long trip.  When a ship docks to refuel it will also fill up on anything else it needs.

The condition I did handle is when a players colony is created on a planet that already has their war ships in orbit.  In this case, the war ships will automatically refuel.

So now I need to handle the case when war ships arrive at a planet that already has a players colony.

When my ships survived a battle they will loose some of their
drones/droids. I thought a colony is producing drones/droids, but when
I place my ships on a colonized planet they wont recover?
