Greetings all. As you know, Dancer has been lying idle for a long time now. In my previous life, I was intimately involved with Dancer, and I administrated a channel with 200+ concurrent users, 25+ operators, and we had 3 or 4 Dancers online, depending on the time of year. I recently joined SourceForge, and found that Dancer was one of the projects hosted. When I saw Daniel's bug report, I decided to chip in again. I have accepted the role as website maintainer, and last night I spent a few hours updating http://dancer.sourceforge.net, so please stop by and let me know what you think of the new layout. If you find bugs, please log them in the bugs database on SF. Together, we may be able to beat Tero into committing the source code to CVS, and get development started again! :) [For those of you how do not remember me, or have joined Dancer within the last two years, a quick bio may be in order: I'm Danish, living and working in Dublin, Ireland. When I do actual work, I lead the computer incident response team for the ISP division of the national phone company.] -- I prefer the dark of the night, after midnight and before four-thirty, when it's more bare, more hollow. |
