In the D-IDE 2 Setup…
'Show details' didn't
A MessageBox popped up with the message "3" sans quotes
The Digital Mars installer appeared, ran and completed
Whereupon the IDE started, producing a 'Runtime error occurred' dialog'
Neither of the 'Send anonymous Report' or 'Close' buttons worked.
So I captured the window and posted the image here… http://i52.tinypic.com/2e1yqs2.png
I had to kill the app with taskman
Other:
I don't see the samples
I'm just a beginner at 'D' (and by implication, a masochist) but would it not make sense to also include the win32 bindings in the setup? I gather those packaged in Phobos are inadequate to say the least.

I ran the install again without uninstalling
Didn't click 'Send anonymous Report'
Clicked 'Close' - it wasn't locked and dismissed the dialog
Closed the IDE
Restarted… it seems to be ok.

Not quite.
Settings\D Settings\dmd2\Library Paths list is empty
Addendum:
Sorted by uninstalling and then going on a disk-wide hunt-and-delete for D-IDE files and directories… followed by reinstall.
