Hi! Cybera release 1.6 is out! Release 1.6 has many additions and bug fixes, among other things: - Automatic Client - Server connection - User management & user rights on server (added employee management) - Configuration wizards for Server and client - Wake on LAN capablilty - etc... Full change log: Server: New functionality: - Added automatic Client - Server connection (client finds a server to connect to) - Added Cybera User management & user rights on server (employees). This also enables Income and sessions to be attributed to a given user - Added ability to Enable/Disable Session Pause on clients - URLspy: added ability to automatically purge URLs as the DB will grow too fast without automatic limiting - Added info on where the last network backup is to the DB maintenance form - Added warnings when DB size grows past 30MB, 60MB and 120MB - Added a configuration wizard to help installing and setting up Cybera - DB purge: added option to include/exclude accounting data from purge - Added Popup menus to clients in Client view and to card list in card view - Added Wake on LAN capablilty: the server can boot the last client workstations who where connected to the server Bug fixes: - Better main window resize management - More robust session stats compilation (better recovery from app crash and corrupt EVENT entries in DB) - Fixed big bug in app shutdown introduced in rel1.5 - Fixed possible bug in session open code that corrupted the events DB table entries - Diminished console update overhead - Fixed possible bug in income journal - Fixed small bug in Options page (some params did not trigger modification detection) - Fixed bug in client view: crd history button was invisible when credit runs out - Fixed small bug in Stats, session list averages where incorrect - Fixed small bug in card view when positioning card list after seaching for a card. - Changed the default values for many server settings in order to make Cybera easier to install and use - Fixed bug in DB purge - Fixed bug on certain buttons where an accidental doubleclick triggered unpredictable events - Fixed bug in DB maintanace: on DB restore selection, the latest version was restored regardless of the selection - Fixed bug in DB restore: if DB passwd was different restore failed - Fixed gui bug in journals where boubleclick on filters was possible during a stat computation - Enhanced recharge config form in options - Fixed bug in Uninstall: reg keys where not deleted - Added a 2 sec timer before activating server-client connectivity In order to let Server startup before dealing with client requests - GUI: Enhanced client selection responsiveness in client view - Fixed bug that could render resumed sessions unstable (after server restart) - Fixed bug in stats: session resume after server restat was not detected properly - Fixed possible bug in card history when the same card number has existed more than once - Fixed minor GUI bug in stats progress bar Client New functionality: - Added automatic Client - Server connection (client finds a server to connect to) - Deactivated windows hotkeys while blocked - Added ability to Enable/Disable Session Pause on clients - Added a configuration wizard to help installing and setting up Cybera - Added Wake on LAN capablilty: the server can boot the last client workstations who where connected to the server Bug fixes: - Removed the client from the windows list - Changed the default values for most client settings in order to make Cybera easier to install and use - URLspy: Stoped client from sending URLs that are of no interest (about:blank etc) - URLspy: Limited URLs sent to server to when the caption and the URL change - At last fixed an obscure bug in file transfers from server to client where the last chunk of jpgs was corrupted (in follow mode for example). This was due to 4 unexplained bytes being added to the file when using the LEFT function directly in a PUT statement - Fixed bug that could render resumed sessions unstable (after server restart) - Fixed bug on file reception that could bring down the Client-Server connection |
