I have just posted as an alpha release a server patch that will allow multiple CVW servers to communicate. Information can be found at http://cvw.sourceforge.net/svr2svr/cvwFed.php3
I've noticed within the past week that the Solaris 4.0 Document server available from the download area doesn't seem to work with Solaris 7 or 8. I had built this server using 2.6, and it appears that this is the only platform it'll work on. However, all is not lost. The tomcat configuration that I set up on Linux does also work on these platforms. If anyone gets a Solaris 4.0 Document server up and running on these platforms and would like to resubmit it back here, I'll make it available from the site.
I've just posted a MUD client that was developed here at MITRE for research purposes. This client, mudsy, was developed to examine how to develop communications software with reusable components and JavaBeans. Mudsy has support for the MCP 2.1 standard, as well as providing a good example on using the java event delegation model. Mudsy is available as a complete download at:

As you may have noticed, we have placed version 3.2.1 on this site as a new project. For those of you familiar with CVW, this version is the same as the release available from http://cvw.mitre.org, except that we've changed the license to the public domain agreement. I'm planning to still put a couple more binary downloads here (for Solaris and Windows), but I'm having some problems due to their size. ... read more
I've finally been able to get a 4.0 Docserver working for Linux. The components of this Docserver are slightly different than the Solaris version (using Tomcat and a GNU version of MySQL) so there's only one file to download. The associated README details the installation. I did this sorta quickly, so please let me know what needs fixed
This project is still being set up; we will post a notice here when it is ready.
