[Cvw-general] New and interested

Hello 

I just came across CVW and am very interested in giving it a try on 
FreeBSD, rather making a port for the FreeBSD ports tree ( system)

Right now, i guess i'm just wandering if it's still alive and active, 
and if it's actively being worked on etc etc.

In anycase, hello to all, guess i'm going to start out with all the 
documentation and figure out then what ever questions may pop up.

One for starters though would be the type of video hardware required or 
CVW is capable of using. I did notice VIC is required (?) and vic is 
indeed apart of the FreeBSD ports tree, is this still the case perhaps? 
and in general what type of video (cams?) are some people using/have 
used with CVW.
