When I had bored with keeping and reseting WinCvs
preferences I added export and import WinCvs
configuration kinda editor, cvsroot and login and
other.
It adds menu "Admin>Export Configuration"
and "Admin>Import Configuration" and saves and loads
WinCvs preferences into ini-file.
I have tested it with sources of cvsgui (I got it
from
anonymous@cvs.cvsgui.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/cvsgui)
pserver access to a CVSNT server.

I haven't tested your patches yet but what differentiates
this from the existing Saved Settings mechanism?

Redundant, you can always just copy the settings files and
export registry using the registry editor
