Hi,

I'm using libcurl-7.15.0-win32-msvc.zip and it appears
to be compiled without zlib support. Would it be
possible to include zlib support by default?

So why get that particular file? I believe this one for
    example has zlib enabled:
    http://curl.haxx.se/latest.cgi?curl=win32-nossl-sspi

Either way, the binary packages are provided by friendly
people and organizations, they are not actually produced or
    offered by this project.

Because it's the only choice the download wizard offers for
MSVC Win32 on i386 libcurl development.

Again, the site simply helps to point out packages for you.
If you don't like them, don't use them. Build your own or
contact someone that can build packages according to your
    specifications.

I believe you can select "generic" libcurl packages to use
with MSVC too, but I'm not the windows person to ask. I
suggest you join the curl-library list and ask around.
