#5 kups can't print or preview test page

When I try to print the test page from Kups, I get an error message: Can't open file '
(The ' character is in the message)

The test page selected in Kups configuration is an existing, readble PS file. If I click the "Preview..." button, the error message is "unable to generate temporary file". I get "QFile::open: No file name specified" errors on the shell window where kups was started.

I'm using QT 2.2.4, Cups 1.1.6, qtcups 2.0, kups 1.0.
