I've been trying to deploy the elFinderIntegration-portlet on our testing server, but I have obviously not configured something properly. I keep getting "Invalid Backend Configuration". So, I wanted to know if you had experienced this, and the things you tried to fix it, and I have tried the normal google searches and have not found alot of helpful suggestions. Also, is this portlet compatible with the new GridEngine 1.5.1 ?
Thanks
Liam

Hi Liam, that is a part of and old version of the data engine. The newer version's code is on another branch. The new data engine is able to use several e-Infrastructures thanks to the e-Infrastrcutre service that we are developing in parallel.
Even the technology we are using changed. This is more integrated in Liferay. If you are interested the code is here: https://sourceforge.net/p/ctsciencegtwys/einfsrv/sources/
while here you can find the javadocs associated: http://www.catania-science-gateways.it/javadocs/einfrsrv-portlet/index.html
Cheers,
Riccardo
