in some cases some synth manufacturers use a cc assignmant which controls, for instance an octave knob.. in fact the available ccs are 0-127, yet they only use a range within at an increment of 12... so this cc could be used elsewhere... say in ctrlr for instance.. in my case I set this same cc to a "Pitch" controller for each oscillator.. it would be great if when i moved the osc octave, the pitch slider in ctrlr moved in accordance, and vice versa, when i slide the pitch slider up and hit the octave increments it'd be great if the pitch slider (knob) which shares the same cc as the pitch slider would move in conjunction.

This can be achieved now with modulator references.
